Booking with AMX Tours means you accept these terms.
By submitting or confirming a booking with AMX Tours, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Payment instructions are shared once AMX Tours confirms the booking.
If the tour date falls within 72 hours of confirmation, payment is due within 24 hours.
Late cancellations, no-shows, and non-recoverable costs may affect any refund or credit.
1. Booking Requests and Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability, route access, tides, weather, safety conditions, and operational approval.
- A booking is only confirmed once AMX Tours has accepted the request and issued a confirmation.
- AMX Tours may decline or cancel a booking request where safety, timing, guest numbers, or operational limitations make the tour unsuitable or unavailable.
- Guests are responsible for providing accurate names, contact details, guest counts, and any relevant trip information at the time of booking.
2. Payment Terms
- Unless stated otherwise, prices are quoted in Namibian dollars (N$).
- Once a booking is confirmed, payment must be completed within 72 hours.
- If the confirmed tour date falls within 72 hours of confirmation, payment must be completed within 24 hours.
- If payment is not received within the required payment window, AMX Tours may release or cancel the booking without further obligation.
- Any transfer fees, bank charges, or third-party payment costs remain the responsibility of the guest unless AMX Tours confirms otherwise in writing.
3. Guest Changes and Cancellations
- Any request to change, postpone, or cancel a booking should be sent in writing by email or WhatsApp as soon as possible.
- Rescheduling is always subject to availability, route conditions, and operational practicality.
- No-shows, very late arrivals, or missed departure windows may be treated as cancellations.
- Where AMX Tours has already committed guides, vehicles, permits, catering, or other third-party arrangements, any refund or credit may be reduced by non-recoverable costs.
- Short-notice cancellations may be non-refundable where the booking slot could not reasonably be re-sold or operational costs were already committed.
4. Changes or Cancellations by AMX Tours
- AMX Tours may change departure times, routes, meeting arrangements, or stop locations where weather, tides, road access, mechanical issues, guide availability, or safety conditions require it.
- If a tour cannot operate safely or reasonably, AMX Tours may offer a reschedule, a suitable alternative, a credit, or another fair solution depending on the circumstances.
- Force majeure events, including severe weather, natural events, government restrictions, road closures, or other matters outside reasonable control, may require last-minute changes or cancellations.
5. Guest Responsibilities
- Guests must arrive on time and follow the instructions of the AMX Tours guide or driver throughout the experience.
- Guests should disclose any mobility limitations, medical concerns, or other conditions that could affect safe participation before the tour departs.
- Parents or guardians remain responsible for children in their care at all times.
- AMX Tours reserves the right to refuse participation where a guest’s conduct creates a safety risk, disrupts the experience, or endangers staff, other guests, or equipment.
6. General Tour Conditions
- Tour conditions in Namibia can change quickly, especially around the coast, dunes, and remote routes.
- Wildlife sightings, tide windows, road access, and weather conditions cannot be guaranteed and may affect the final route or timing.
- AMX Tours takes reasonable care in delivering each experience, but guests acknowledge that adventure travel involves natural and operational variables outside fixed control.
